Domain Names and Disputes
       Domain Names are the street signs of the Internet world, and the way that Internet users worldwide find content, communication and commerce. Choosing – and protecting -- domain names, especially in the increasingly complex world of New generic Top Level Domains (“New gTLDs”), will be an increasing challenge.
       Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC attorneys assist clients with all issues directly related to their domain names, including:

        - Domain name selection;
- Monitoring and brand protection;
- Domain name disputes, including proceedings involving  ICANN’s Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (“UDRP”) (the first global  online dispute resolution process, a process which FHH attorneys helped  to draft) and Uniform Rapid Suspension challenges and defenses, as well  as the United States Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act;
- Negotiations involving the sale, transfer, and auction of domain names; and
- Work with proxy/privacy providers of domain name services.
