Our services include:
• Providing advice regarding compliance with local exchange, domestic interexchange and international regulatory requirements.
• Representing clients before the FCC and other federal and state regulatory agencies and federal courts in connection with complaints, applications for licenses and certificates of authority, tariffs, and other proceedings.
• Providing regulatory and strategic advice regarding opportunities and challenges arising under the Communications Act, particularly in light of the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
• Structuring and negotiating telecommunications carrier-to-carrier and carrier-to-customer interconnection, resale and service agreements, and preparing related contracts and other documentation.
• Structuring and negotiating joint ventures and commercial transactions, including the purchase and sale or lease of large commercial assets, corporate mergers and acquisitions, corporate and project financings, and preparation of related contracts and other documentation.
• Providing legal analysis of regulations proposed by the FCC and other federal and state agencies, and participating in rulemaking proceedings on behalf of clients.
• Monitoring and analyzing governmental and legislative telecommunications developments.
• Consulting with members of Congress and state legislators, the FCC and state regulatory authorities on matters of particular interest to our clients.
• Providing advice to carriers, financial institutions, equipment manufacturers, and end users of telecommunications products and services regarding domestic and foreign regulation of telephony.
